Welcome to EBURON, a stylish four star hotel located in a 12th Century former
convent.
Originally the Sint-Jacobs guesthouse, this building was established as an inn for pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostella. Today, this monumental convent has been fully renovated and forms an integral part of the lively city centre of Tongeren: the oldest city in Belgium.
The spirit of the 12th Century has been fused with strong contemporary
design by a dynamic team of architects. An impressive lobby greets you on
entering, with 6 meter high ceilings setting the tone as it recalls the
building’s former function. Colourful pouffes from Le Couchon and cool lighting
by Kreon bring an element of Limburg design to Eburon.
The beauty of the centuries old architecture of the hotel lobbies and hallways
will take your breath away.
Eburon plays a time game, a sleight of hand with the old features, adding
colour, femininity and finesse.
Linger a while in the historic cloister garden - and enjoy travelling back
in time.
Eburon stands for HISTORY – LUXURY – DESIGN – INSPIRATION - CHARACTER
